Stella McCartney for Kids and Baby Collection
It seems that Stella McCartney is teaming up with Gap to launch a kids and baby collection. Stella McCartney, the daughter of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, has been running her own fashion house since 2001, in a joint venture with Gucci Group, has declared that "I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate".

Stella McCartney, the daughter of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, has been running her own fashion house since 2001, in a joint venture with Gucci Group, has declared that "I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate". As for Gap, Mark Hansen, president of Gap brand said that "I'm looking forward to offering our GapKids and BabyGap customers her unique interpretation of Gap's casual American aesthetic. Her experience as a parent and designer are sure to delight both kids and parents alike". |
The new collection from Gap and Stella McCartney will be available this year, and will be retailed in Gap stores all around the world - United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Ireland, and Japan. Many retailers have decided, at a certain time, to initiate collaboration with professional and worldly-recognized designers, in order to lure shoppers. Kate Moss did it for Topshop, H&M created a line signed Mathew Williamson, Walmart with Miley Cyrus and Max Azria. Now, Gap is doing it with Stella McCartney. Mother of three beautiful kids, she's designing an affordable line of clothes for famous retailer Gap. |
